Headed to NBA

Wagner announced Monday that he will forgo his remaining three seasons of eligibility to declare for the 2021 NBA Draft with plans to sign with an agent, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Wagner was one of the higher-regarded underclassmen who had yet to announce if he would pursue a move to the professional ranks, but the sophomore forward finally provided clarity on the matter Monday. Thanks to his efficient inside-outside game, strong defense and quality size (6-foot-9, 220 pounds), Wagner appears likely to hear his name called in the first round of the draft. Wagner played an integral part in Michigan earning a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament this spring after averaging 12.5 points, 6.5 boards, 1.3 steals, 1.3 three-pointers and 1.0 blocks in 31.8 minutes per game while shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 83.5 percent from the charity stripe on the season.
