Abmas announced Sunday via his personal Twitter account that he has declared for the 2021 NBA Draft while maintaining his eligibility.
ANALYSIS
Abmas will receive feedback from the NBA's Undergraduate Advisory Committee following a spectacular sophomore season in which he led Division I in scoring average (24.5 points per game) while guiding Oral Roberts to a Sweet 16 appearance. At 6-foot-1, 165 pounds, the sophomore guard is undersized for the NBA level, but his quickness and diverse scoring ability could still make him an appealing prospect. He churned out his 24.5 points per game on an efficient 47.7 percent shooting from the field, 89 percent shooting from the free-throw line and 42.9 percent shooting from three-point range.
