Declares for NBA Draft
Sharpe has decided to declare for the 2021 NBA Draft, per his personal Twitter account.
ANALYSIS
Based on the follow-up release from the Tar Heels, it doesn't seem like Sharpe has any intention of returning to the college ranks. Sharpe had a major impact as a bench contributor for North Carolina in 2020-21, racking up 9.5 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, but never really proved he could shoot it from deep and converted just 50.5 percent of his free-throw attempts. Even so, the big man could find himself selected in the back half of the first round.
