Daniel Utomi
Lands with Trojans
April 17, 2019
Utomi has committed to USC as a grad transfer, J. Brady McCollough of the Los Angeles Times reports.
USC was able to bring in a guard that's capable of stretching the floor for the Trojans, a role he played this past season with Akron. Averaging 14.1 points per game, he led the MAC in three-point shooting in conference play with 89 total makes, good enough for a 37.3 shooting percentage from deep. He'll be a graduate transfer and therefore ready to play immediately, and should be a candidate to see the starting five for coach Andy Enfield's squad.
