Arenas had enjoyed a productive, but inefficient start to his college career, scoring 7.5 ppg on 28.6 percent shooting through his first four games, while also missing each of his first 10 three-point attempts. The shots started falling more often Monday, however, and Arenas was able to show what made him such a high-profile recruit while carrying the Trojans to victory. A favorable matchup Sunday at Penn State lies ahead, where USC will look to run its winning streak to three.
