Gordon entered the NCAA's transfer portal Thursday, according to Jamie Shaw of On3.com.
ANALYSIS
It looked like Gordon was going to spend his 2023-24 season with Texas A&M. Instead, he will look to enroll at a different program after a busy offseason and days after the school began its fall semester. Despite the timing, Gordon wanting to transfer is not too surprising considering his drop in playing time during Texas A&M's 2022-23 season. He averaged 15.1 minutes and started only six of 35 games the team played. In contrast, Gordon averaged more than 20 minutes and started at least 18 games during each of his seasons from 2019-20 to 2021-22.
