ANALYSIS
Washington missed the first 10 games of the season for the Sharks with an undisclosed issue, but the sophomore guard returned Dec. 18 and has made an immediate impact. He's seen 30 or more minutes in all three games while reaching double figures in each and starting the most recent two. He's average 12.0 field goals attempted, so the offensive volume is there, while he's also contributed on the defensive end with nine steals. LIU has yet to defeat a D1 opponent this season and has been trounced every time the competition level rises, but Washington's return at least provides a semblance of hope for the start of Northeast Conference play.
