Jones announced May 10 via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to join Division II Arkansas-Monticello as a transfer from Sam Houston State.
ANALYSIS
Since he's moving outside of the Division I ranks to complete his final two years of eligibility, Jones will be able to compete right away at Arkansas-Monticello. As a sophomore at Sam Houston State this past season, Jones appeared in 29 games, averaging 2.8 points, 1.9 assists and 1.1 rebounds in 14.1 minutes per contest.
