Heading to Weber State
Overton announced Friday that he is heading to Weber State as a graduate transfer, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Overton showed massive strides of improvement in his game this past season as he posted a career-high 15.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 steals in 30.6 minutes per game. He becomes the second transfer to commit to Weber State in the last three days after Koby McEwen made his announcement to play there Wednesday. The Wildcats' top scorer from this past season was senior Isiah Brown (17.7 ppg) who has yet to confirm whether he'll be returning for another season. If he does, he and Overton could be one of the more lethal scoring duos in the Big Sky conference as they look to get back to the Big Dance for the first time since 2016.
