Lyons announced Monday via his personal Twitter account that he would leave Nicholls State and transfer to Division II Pittsburg State.
ANALYSIS
Since Lyons is finishing his collegiate career outside of the Division I ranks, he won't require a waiver from the NCAA and will be able to compete immediately. The 6-foot-10 big man appeared in 29 games (three starts) for Nicholls State in 2019-20, averaging 2.1 points and 2.5 boards in 8.6 minutes per contest.
