ANALYSIS
The suspension stems from an incident on Oct. 24 in which he and two teammates allegedly committed a crime that can net people up to a year in jail. It's unclear when they'll be appearing in court for this matter or when they'll return to the basketball court. Mateen, a transfer student from Laramie County Community College in Wyoming, averaged 17.6 points per game last season and could act as a solid scorer for the Huskies if he's able to play this season.
