Matthew Shiltz
QuarterbackQB
Accounts for two touchdowns in loss
QBMontreal
September 30, 2019
Shiltz completed 10-of-19 passing attempts for 177 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Saturday's 25-23 loss to BC. He also rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown on five carries.
ANALYSIS
Shiltz hit Eric Lewis deep for a 97-yard touchdown to open the second half and take a 10-9 lead. His seven-yard touchdown run in the fourth gave the Alouettes a chance to tie the game, but his subsequent two-point attempt fell incomplete. While the 26-year-old performed admirably, he's likely headed back to the bench in favor of Vernon Adams Week 17 at home against Calgary.
