Dakota Prukop

QuarterbackQB
Solid in finale
QBEdmonton
November 20, 2021
Prukop completed 17 of 24 passes for 183 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions and added 51 yards on eight rushes in the Elks' 43-10 loss to the Lions on Friday night.
ANALYSIS
Prukop first entered the contest with 6:32 remaining in the first half and ran for 26 yards on his first two plays. Although an ineffective Taylor Cornelius threw one more pass after that point -- an interception -- Prukop led the offense the rest of the way and completed a three-yard touchdown to Jalen Tolliver with two seconds remaining before halftime. The 28-year-old was relatively solid the rest of the way except for a pair of picks, and his performance may have earned him serious consideration for the starting quarterback competition next spring if he returns to Edmonton.
