Prukop completed 17 of 24 passes for 183 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions and added 51 yards on eight rushes in the Elks' 43-10 loss to the Lions on Friday night.
Prukop first entered the contest with 6:32 remaining in the first half and ran for 26 yards on his first two plays. Although an ineffective Taylor Cornelius
threw one more pass after that point -- an interception -- Prukop led the offense the rest of the way and completed a three-yard touchdown to Jalen Tolliver
with two seconds remaining before halftime. The 28-year-old was relatively solid the rest of the way except for a pair of picks, and his performance may have earned him serious consideration for the starting quarterback competition next spring if he returns to Edmonton.
