Kenny Lawler
Wide ReceiverWR
Finds end zone Saturday
WRWinnipeg
September 12, 2021
Lawler brought in five of seven targets for 97 yards and a touchdown in the Blue Bombers' 33-9 win over the Roughriders on Saturday afternoon.
ANALYSIS
Lawler paced the Blue Bombers in targets, drew even with Nic Demski for the team lead in receptions and was second to his teammate in receiving yardage for the day. The second-year wideout also put an exclamation point on Winnipeg's big win with a 40-yard touchdown reception at the 3:24 mark of the fourth quarter, his first trip to the end zone since Week 1 and third overall this season. Lawler will look to keep up the strong play that's already led to a 32-468-3 line for the season in a Week 7 road matchup versus the Elks on Saturday night.
