Hodges inked a three-year deal with the Redblacks in mid-September and is expected to eventually take over the starting quarterback duties, but that may not happen this season. The initial plan for Hodges is for him to sit the rest of the season and give him a full offseason of training in preparation for him to start next year. However, the Redblacks currently have two quarterbacks out with injury and Hodges may need to play this season if Caleb Evans
were also to get injured.
