RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski (foot) was activated from the six-game injured list in advance of Sunday's Eastern Final.

Demski practiced Wednesday for the first time since injuring his foot in Week 11, so his activation does not automatically put him in the lineup for this week's Eastern Final. However, he will at least have a chance to play this week, and in the Grey Cup should the Roughriders advance.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski (ankle) was added to the six-game injured list ahead of Saturday's contest against the Blue Bombers, Lee Jones of CTV Regina reports.

Demski was already ruled out for Saturday's game after suffering an ankle injury in the team's previous contest. However, it ends up the injury is even more serious than originally thought. As a result, Demski will likely be out until Oct. 20, when the Roughriders take on the Stampeders. Caleb Holley will get the start at wideout in Demski's absence Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski (undisclosed) won't take the field for Saturday's tilt against the Blue Bombers, Lee Jones of CTV Regina reports.

As expected, Demski, who suffered an injury during the team's previous contest, will be sidelined for Saturday's matchup. Bakari Grant is likely next in line to take his spot at slotback and see additional targets while Duron Carter will seemingly take over Demski's punt return duties.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski missed Tuesday's practice and isn't expected to take the field Saturday against the Blue Bombers, Taylor Shire of Global Regina reports.

Demski suffered an injury during the team's previous game. Assuming he's sidelined, Bakari Grant is likely next in line to see additional targets at slotback. Duron Carter may take over punt returning duties for Demski as well.

August 12, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski will get the start at slotback over Caleb Holley for Sunday's game against the Lions, Taylor Shire of Global Regina reports.

The third-year receiver out of Manitoba will draw a start at slotback Sunday. He's appeared in six games this season, catching 16 passes for 192 yards and one touchdown.

July 28, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski (leg) is listed as a reserve wide receiver on the depth chart for Saturday's game against the Argonauts.

Demski missed some practice time earlier this week with his injury, but apparently the setback was only minor. While he is set to suit up Saturday, Demski did not record a catch last week while coming off the bench, so it will be tough to count on him for fantasy purposes while still in a reserve role.

July 26, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski had a short practice Wednesday due to a charley horse in his leg, Taylor Shirt of Global Regina reports.

It's unclear whether Demski's cramping issue is on-going or just a one day thing. There will likely be more updates on his status before Saturday's game.

July 21, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski is listed as a reserve wide receiver on the depth chart for Saturday's game against the Stampeders.

Demski impressed over the first two weeks of this season, totaling 14 receptions for 169 yards and a score, but he caught just one pass in Week 3, and he will now cede his starting spot to Rob Bagg coming out of the Roughriders' Week 4 bye. Demski has proven he can contribute when given the chance, but it will be difficult for him to match his early-season production in a backup role. He does figure to continue seeing ample return opportunities however, as he is listed as the top option to run back both kicks and punts.

July 1, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski totaled 87 yards and a touchdown on seven receptions while adding 82 yards on nine punt returns in Saturday's 43-40 overtime loss to the Blue Bombers.

Demski retained his spot atop the receiver depth chart despite the return of Rob Bagg (ankle) and delivered once again, leading the Riders in receptions and receiving yards. The 24-year-old's 35-yard touchdown also came at a crucial juncture, as it helped kick-start a Riders' comeback from a 37-23 deficit in the fourth quarter. Through two games, the third-year pass catcher has 14 receptions for 169 yards and Saturday's score, making it likely that he'll continue to play a prominent role in the Riders' high-powered air attack. He'll look to continue his strong start to 2017 against the Ti-Cats in Week 3.

June 30, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski is listed above Rob Bagg (ankle) on the Roughridgers' Week 2 depth chart, Taylor Shire of Global Regina reports.

Demski was the leading receiver in Week 1 with 87 yards, which allowed him to move up and maintain the starting role this week even with Bagg ready to play. Once Bagg is fully healthy, he could regain the top spot on the right side of the formation, but until then, Demski could see extra opportunities.

June 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski caught seven passes for 87 yards in Thursday's 17-16 loss to the Alouettes.

After pulling down just 50 catches for 503 yards in 31 games over his first two CFL seasons, Demski got 2017 off to a quick start, leading the Roughriders in receiving yards and yards per catch in Week 1. His role could diminish once Rob Bagg (ankle) and Chad Owens (foot) get healthy, but the 24-year-old also had a couple of big games towards the end of last season for Saskatchewan and may be poised for a breakout campaign.

June 21, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski will start at wide receiver in Thursday's season opener against the Alouettes.

Demski will be a reserve receiver when everyone is healthy, but with teammate Rob Bagg (ankle) unable to go in Week 1, Demski will move into the starting lineup. Demski started several games last year, but he totaled just two touchdowns and never finished with more than 62 yards any week.

November 6, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski totaled 62 yards on four receptions in Saturday's 41-18 loss to the Lions.

The 23-year-old posted his highest receiving yardage total on the season while also leading the team in that category on the night. Demski was solid in his second season while playing in a highly inconsistent offense, upping his reception and yardage totals over those of his rookie 2015 campaign, while also scoring the first two touchdowns of his career. Given his youth and talent, he'll be a player to keep an eye on as the Roughriders attempt to bounce back in 2017.

October 14, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski (shoulder) is listed as a starting wide receiver on the depth chart for Saturday's game against the Argonauts.

Demski appeared unlikely to play this week due to a shoulder injury, but it turns out he will be able to take the field. Demski had two of his more productive games of the season his last two times out, tallying a season-high 60 yards in Week 14, and finding the end zone in Week 16.

October 9, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski is dealing with a shoulder injury and will miss Saturday's matchup with Toronto, Roughriders play-by-play announcer Rod Pederson reports.

The Roughriders already lost Armanti Edwards (hand) and Jeff Fuller (finger) for the season, so Demski's absence Saturday only adds to a long list of players sitting out. He's not expected to be out for an extended period of time and could be available as soon as an Oct. 22 matchup with Montreal.

October 8, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski caught four passes for 29 yards and a touchdown in Friday's overtime win over the Redblacks.

The TD was just Demski's second of the season and the second-year slotback's 25 catches for 228 yards are modest totals at best, but with Naaman Roosevelt (lower leg) on IR there should be some extra targets available for Demski down the stretch.

August 19, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski will start at wide receiver for Saturday's game against the Tiger-Cats.

Demski wasn't in the lineup for last Saturday's loss to the Stampeders for an undisclosed reason, but he'll return to action this week.

August 3, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski will start against Calgary on Thursday.

Demski was promoted to start over Shawmawd Chambers on Thursday. He has caught eight passes for 74 yards and one touchdown this season.

July 28, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski is listed as the second-string wide receiver for Friday's matchup with the Alouettes.

With Shamwad Chambers returning to the starting lineup, Demski gets the bump down to second-string. The 23-year-old has logged nine receptions for 74 yards and one touchdown this season.

July 21, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski will start at wide receiver this Friday against the Redblacks.

Demski has previously been listed on the depth chart as a reserve slotback, but will fill in at wideout with injuries to both Shamawd Chambers and Armanti Edwards. The 23-year-old has seven receptions for 55 yards and one touchdown this season.

July 17, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Demski gained 22 yards and a touchdown on three catches in Saturday's 40-27 loss to the Lions.

The 23-year-old national visited the end zone for the first time in 2016 and provided a modest but solid encore to his four-catch effort against the Eskimos in Week 3. Demski totaled only 13 receptions in 14 games last season, and is thus over halfway to that total in just three contests in the current campaign. While he has plenty of competition for targets among the Roughriders' receiving corps, Demski certainly looks capable of building positively on his rookie season.
