RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 20-of-30 pass attempts for 286 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in Friday's 38-21 loss to Hamilton. He added five carries for 26 yards and an additional touchdown.

Reilly started the game off with a bang: his first completed pass was a deep bomb that went for an 88-yard touchdown to tie the game at seven. The Ticat defense held strong for the next few drives after that, and Reilly wasn't able to string together a long one until he hit Kenny Stafford on a 55-yard play to set up Edmonton's second touchdown towards the end of the first half. In the fourth quarter, a pass-interference call would put the ball at the Eskimos' 1-yard line, and the Central Washington product converted a QB sneak to bring the score to 38-21. The comeback bid would end there, however, as the 33-year-old was intercepted on his next and final drive of the game. He and the Eskimos will try and bounce back in Week 3 at home against BC.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 32 of 46 passes for 408 yards with one touchdown, one interception and a two-point conversion pass in the Eskimos' 33-30 win over the Blue Bombers on Thursday. He also rushed 11 times for 43 yards and added two more scores.

The stat line was highly reminiscent of many the veteran gunslinger generated in 2017, but this one was produced under a rather unique set of circumstances. The Eskimos and Blue Bombers had to wait out two hour-plus weather-related delays, ultimately having to forgo halftime as a result. Reilly had gotten off to a fast start with an early 101-yard touchdown pass to Derel Walker, which interestingly turned out to be his only scoring throw of the night. However, as was often the case last season, he was a force near the goal line with his legs and also led two critical drives downfield late in the fourth quarter to bring Edmonton back from an eight-point deficit. If his Week 1 performance is any indication, Reilly may have little trouble adjusting to life without Brandon Zylstra and Adarius Bowman, as he was able to find the likes of Walker, D'haquille Williams and Kenny Stafford with regularity Thursday. He'll look to replicate his stellar numbers when the Eskimos face off with the Tiger-Cats in Week 2.

May 28, 2018

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 5-of-6 passes for 69 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's preseason opener against the Roughriders.

Reilly came out firing on all cylinders Sunday, and head coach Jason Maas only needed to see two drives before removing Reilly from the game. It's not clear if Reilly will see any action at all in Edmonton's second preseason contest, but either way, the 2017 Most Outstanding Player looks ready for the Eskimos' Week 1 matchup with the Blue Bombers.

November 13, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 23 of 33 passes for 334 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 39-32 win over the Blue Bombers in the Western Semi-Final.

He also added seven carries for 32 yards. Reilly was on fire to close out the regular season, completing 67.2 percent of his passes and posting a 13:4 TD:INT over his last eight games while averaging 333.1 passing yards per contest, and it doesn't look like he intends to slow down in the playoffs. He'll lead Edmonton into Calgary next Sunday for the Western Final, with a berth in the Grey Cup on the line.

October 28, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 18 of 27 passes for 284 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in Saturday's 29-20 win over the Stampeders. He also rushed seven times for 48 yards.

Reilly connected with six different pass catchers and hooked up with trusted target Adarius Bowman for two of his three scores. The veteran signal caller also hit Brandon Zylstra with a 40-yard dart that the speedy receiver took another 37 yards to the house for a touchdown on the second play of the second half. Reilly's passing yardage total allowed him to eclipse 5,500 yards for the second consecutive campaign and kept the Eskimos even with the Blue Bombers atop the West Division with identical 11-6 records. Reilly will look to come through again in a Week 20 showdown with second-placed Saskatchewan and help his team clinch a division title.

October 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 31 of 41 passes for 397 yards and two touchdowns, while adding six carries for 21 yards and two more rushing touchdowns, in Saturday's 35-29 overtime win over the Lions. He also threw two two-point conversions.

Down 16 points on the road with less than six minutes left in the fourth quarter, Reilly lead Edmonton on a furious comeback, tying the score with 36 seconds left on the clock before hitting Cory Watson for the game-winning TD in the extra frame. The 32-year-old not only leads the CFL in passing yards with 5,252 and is one back of the league leaders in passing TDs with 27, his nine rushing TDs also ties him with Calgary's Jerome Messam for the lead in that category as well. With two games left on the schedule and a Most Outstanding Player Award in sight, Reilly will try to keep Edmonton in the hunt for second place in the West Division and home-field advantage in the opening round of the playoffs.

October 15, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 23 of 40 passes for 309 yards and a touchdown with one interception in Saturday's 30-27 win over the Argos. He also added three carries for 34 yards and a TD.

His first and only TD pass on the night came inside the final minute of the game, as he hit Derel Walker for a six-yard score to regain the lead Edmonton had lost just a couple of minutes before after controlling the game since the first quarter. Reilly now leads the CFL in passing yards with 4,855 as he cruises towards his second straight 5000-yard campaign.

October 9, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 13 of 29 passes for 286 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Monday's 42-24 win over the Alouettes. he also added eight carries for 43 yards.

Edmonton receivers dropped a number of passes on a wet and rainy afternoon, but Reilly fought through the conditions to keep his team above .500. With four games left on the schedule, the 32-year-old QB is on pace for new career highs in passing yards and TDs.

October 1, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 31 of 46 passes for 311 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in Saturday's 28-19 loss to the Blue Bombers. He also rushed four times for 32 yards.

Reilly was able to post his fourth straight 300-yard effort, but he saw the Bombers' Chris Randle become a thorn in his side at a pair of critical junctures. Reilly threw a back-breaking pick-six interception to Randle with 2:46 remaining and then had a third-down pass intended for Derel Walker at the 1:52 mark knocked down by the defensive back. Otherwise, the veteran signal caller's fantasy output was customarily stellar, and he's now crossed the 20-touchdown mark for a second straight campaign. He'll look to snap the Eskimos' six-game losing streak in a Week 16 matchup against the Alouettes.

September 16, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 23 of 36 passes for 323 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Saturday's 34-26 loss to the Argonauts. He also gained six yards on two rushes and completed a two-point conversion pass.

A week after putting up a season-best 461 yards, Reilly generated a strong encore, going over the 300-yard mark for eighth time in the last nine contests. He connected with seven different pass catchers and enjoyed the most rapport with Derel Walker, who returned from a summer stint with the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers just prior to Week 12. Reilly almost drove the Eskimos to a potential game-tying sequence -- completing a 60-yard pass to Bryant Mitchell in the process -- but he was sacked at the Argos' 10-yard line on third down with 1:31 remaining, which snuffed out Edmonton's final opportunity. He'll look to get the Eskimos back on the winning track in Week 15 versus the Blue Bombers.

September 11, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 37 of 47 passes for 461 yards with a touchdown and an interception in Saturday's 25-22 loss to the Stamps. He also gained two yards on his sole rush.

Reilly was lethal throughout the contest, completing 78.7 percent of his throws while connecting with eight different pass catchers. His play appeared to be boosted by the CFL return of Derel Walker, who'd tried out with the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers this summer. The veteran signal caller completed 25 passes for 362 yards to the potent trio of Brandon Zylstra, Walker and D'haquille Williams alone, going over 350 yards passing for the fifth time this season. He'll try to put together a fitting encore when the Eskimos take on the Argos in Week 13.

September 4, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 34 of 53 passes for 320 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions in Monday's 39-18 loss to the Stampeders.

He also ran the ball five times for 29 yards. It was a strong bounceback effort for Reilly after his dud performance against Saskatchewan last week, as he threw for at least 300 yards and multiple TDs for the sixth time in the last seven games. He'll look to get some revenge against the Stamps in Week 12 back home in Edmonton.

August 25, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 15 of 26 passes for 160 yards with no touchdowns and two pick-six interceptions in Friday's 54-31 loss to the Riders. He also gained six yards and scored a touchdown on five rushes and was pulled in the fourth quarter.

Reilly's pair of mistakes resulted in the Riders definitively putting the game out of reach in the third quarter. The prolific veteran was first intercepted by Jovon Johnson for a 40-yard score to extend the Riders' lead to 32-7, before Kacy Rodgers one-upped his teammate by taking a second pick 50 yards to the house on a play in which D'haquille Williams appeared to fall down. It was Reilly's second multi-interception game in the last three weeks, although the prior one came in a 384-yard passing effort. Reilly will look to rebound from his season-low passing total against the Stamps in Week 11.

August 18, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 20 of 33 passes for 356 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Thursday's 33-26 loss to the Blue Bombers. He also carried the ball six times for 14 yards and a score.

Edmonton's lengthy injury list finally took its toll, as the offense didn't get the ball into the end zone until its first possession of the second half, but Reilly still packed plenty of production into two quarters in a furious comeback attempt. With its undefeated run over, expect the team to re-focus ahead of Week 10's tilt with Saskatchewan.

August 10, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 27 of 38 passes for a season-high 384 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in Thursday's 27-20 win over the Redblacks. He also added 11 carries for 51 yards.

Injuries keep piling up among Edmonton's skill players, but so far Reilly has found a way to keep the offense humming and the team undefeated. His 9.4 yards per attempt and 72.7 percent completion rate lead all CFL starting QBs, and the 32-year-old should remain productive next Thursday on the road against the Blue Bombers.

August 4, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 29 of 38 passes for 317 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Friday's 33-28 win over the Ti-Cats. He also gained 31 yards and scored two additional touchdowns on 10 rushes.

With the Ti-Cats keeping the game competitive throughout, Reilly put together his third straight multi-touchdown effort through the air and second consecutive on the ground. The prolific signal caller connected with eight different pass catchers and has now thrown for over 300 yards in three consecutive games, including over 400 yards in Week 6. With 15 total touchdowns already through six games, Reilly remains a must-play each week, and he'll look to keep the Eskimos undefeated versus the Redblacks in Week 8.

July 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 24 of 33 passes for 412 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions, while carrying the ball five times for 11 yards and two more TDs, in Friday's 37-26 win over the Lions.

By the end of the game, Edmonton was without a running back (as Travon Van had left with a neck injury) and a kicker or punter (due to Sean Whyte's leg injury), forcing the team to play three-down football despite a fourth-quarter lead and helping to pad Reilly's totals. The thinning roster around him could eventually begin to negatively impact Reilly's production, but for the moment he's third in the CFL in passing yards per game (325.6) and passing TDs (nine), and second in completion percentage (72.3 percent) and YPA (9.4).

July 20, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 27 of 37 passes for 350 yards with three touchdowns, a passing two-point conversion and no interceptions in Thursday's 31-28 win over the Ti-Cats.

Reilly found Vidal Hazelton for a go-ahead touchdown in the waning moments of the game and then connected with Bryant Mitchell for the two-point conversion to give the Eskimos a three-point lead. It was the culmination of the prolific veteran's best effort of the season, one in which he completed passes to seven different receivers while dealing with the absence of trusted target Adarius Bowman (hamstring). The 32-year-old set a 2017 single-game high in passing yards and touchdown passes, while also remaining interception-free on the season. Reilly will look to continue his early success in Edmonton's Week 6 showdown against the Lions.

July 14, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 27 of 39 passes for 265 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in Friday's 23-21 win over the Redblacks. He also gained 10 yards on three rushes.

Reilly threw for 315 yards and two touchdowns in the opener against the Lions, but he's spearheaded a more balanced attack over the last two games. The prolific signal caller has thrown for 286 and 265 yards, respectively, in those contests, while seeing capable running back Travon Van also play a sizable role in the offense. By comparison, Reilly didn't throw for under 300 yards in 2016 until Week 7, and failed to hit the mark only three times in the first 15 games of the campaign. While the passing numbers are down in the early going of 2017, Reilly is still averaging 8.4 yards per attempt (third-highest of his career) and completing an impressive 71.8 percent of his throws. He'll look to continue his strong start in a Week 5 tilt against the Ti-Cats.

July 1, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 27 of 36 passes for 286 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 23-19 win over the Alouettes.

He wasn't able to match his Week 1 numbers, but Reilly still put together a strong performance and now has 601 passing yards and three TDs with no INTs in leading Edmonton to a 2-0 start. After exploding for a career-high 5,554 yards last year, the 32-year-old signal-caller has picked up right where he left off in 2016.

June 25, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 20 of 28 passes for 315 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Saturday's 30-27 win over the Lions. He also gained a yard on his sole rush.

One of the more interesting situations to monitor coming into Week 1 promised to be how the Eskimos would adapt to the loss of standout receiver Derel Walker, who signed with the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the offseason. If the opening game is any indication, neither Reilly nor the Eskimos offense has missed a beat. The veteran signal caller spread the ball around to seven different receivers, including running back John White, and posted a 300-yard effort despite top target Adarius Bowman being limited to just two receptions for 13 yards. Reilly found the emerging Brandon Zylstra on a team-high seven occasions, the last of which was a key 76-yard strike late in the fourth quarter that positioned Edmonton for Sean Whyte's game-winning field goal. Overall, Reilly appeared to already be in mid-season form, and his production should only increase once Bowman inevitably hits his stride in the coming weeks. He'll look to generate a successful encore when the Eskimos face off with the Als at home in next Friday's Week 2 tilt.

June 16, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly did not suit up for the Eskimos' preseason finale, according to Global News, but is set to open the season as the team's starting quarterback.

Reilly saw bit action in Edmonton's first preseason contest, but the Eskimos went the precautionary route and held him out of the second game. It's not like Reilly is in need of extra reps, as he led the CFL last season with 5,554 passing yards and finished second in passing touchdowns with 28.

November 20, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly (upper body) completed 20 of 41 passes for 340 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 35-23 Eastern Finals loss to the Redblacks.

After falling behind 25-3, Reilly led the Eskimos on a furious comeback that brought them as close as within four points of the Redblacks. He fired a pair of scoring passes to top target Adarius Bowman in the second half, along with another to Chris Getzlaf. However, Ottawa was able to bleed out the clock with a late drive, ending the season for Reilly and his teammates. Despite the disappointing conclusion, the 31-year-old signal caller put together a career season that included 5,554 yards passing and 28 touchdowns, both career bests, over 17 starts.

November 19, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly (upper body) will start Sunday against the Redblacks, Dave Campbell of 630 CHED reports.

Reilly was forced out of last week's contest prematurely due to an upper body injury, but it appears he won't be forced to miss additional game action as he intends to return to the lineup on Sunday. James Franklin figures to return to his role as Reilly's backup, but could see action if Reilly suffers any sort of setback.

November 14, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 10 of 19 passes for 133 yards while carrying the ball five times for 20 yards in Sunday's 24-21 win over the Tiger-Cats in the Eastern Semifinal, but left the game in the fourth quarter after suffering an upper body injury on a rushing attempt.

James Franklin finished the game at quarterback for Edmonton, but Reilly insisted afterwards that he would be in the lineup next Sunday for the Eastern Final against the Redblacks. Reilly's passing numbers were stifled by the high winds blowing at Tim Hortons Field on Sunday, but assuming he really is healthy he should be more productive next weekend.

November 4, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly will start Saturday's game against the Argonauts but is not expected to play the entire game, according to Eskimos broadcaster Morley Scott.

The Eskimos' top skill players are all listed as reserves on this week's depth chart, which suggests that they will be limited, and may not even play at all. Thus, Reilly will not have most of his weapons at his disposal when he is in the game, so he may not be asked to do much. James Franklin is expected to enter Saturday's contest in Reilly's place at some point, but it's not clear when that will occur.

October 29, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly competed 18 of 31 passes for 239 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Friday's 29-26 win over the Ti-Cats. He also gained 27 yards and scored a touchdown on six rushes.

As prolific as Reilly's arm can be, his legs have consistently gotten him into the end zone over the last several weeks as well. He's tallied a rushing score in three straight games and four of the last five weeks overall. It's been a banner season for the veteran, as he's established career highs in multiple categories, including passing yards (5,554), touchdowns (28) and rushing scores (nine). The 31-year-old is sure to play a pivotal role once more in a Week 20 clash against the Argos.

October 23, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 24 of 32 passes for 261 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in Saturday's 32-25 loss to the Lions. He added 10 yards and a touchdown on three rushes.

Reilly had an efficient but relatively quiet game by his standards, failing to hit the 300-yard mark for the first time in the last six contests. However, he did find the end zone on the ground for the second straight game and third time in the last four weeks. Reilly does have a career-best 5,315 yards passing on the season, while his touchdown pass to Adarius Bowman with 34 seconds remaining propelled him to a career-high 26 scoring throws as well. The veteran signal-caller will be counted on heavily once again when the Eskimos visit the Ti-Cats in Week 19.

October 10, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 25 of 34 passes for 346 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Monday's 40-20 win over the Als. He also gained 11 yards and scored a touchdown on nine rushes.

The veteran gunslinger was outstanding once again after a slow start to the game, throwing for at least 300 yards for the fifth straight contest. With Monday's production, Reilly surpassed the 5,000-yard mark on the season for the first time in his storied career, and fired multiple touchdown passes in a game for the eighth time this season. The 31-year-old also recorded his seventh rushing score, the second-highest total of his career in that category. Reilly will look to extend his stellar streak when the Eskimos take on the Lions in a Week 18 matchup that could well turn into a shootout.

October 1, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 32 of 38 passes for 355 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's win over the Blue Bombers.

It's Reilly's fourth straight game, and 11th in 14 starts, with at least 300 passing yards, and he's now more than 400 yards ahead of Bo Levi Mitchell for the CFL lead in that category. Expect Reilly and the Eskimos' passing game to keep putting up big numbers in their next contest, on the road in Montreal on Oct. 10.

September 19, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 19 of 26 passes for 306 yards and a touchdown with one interception in Sunday's loss to the Roughriders. He also added 34 rushing yards.

It's the ninth time in 12 games that Reilly has thrown for over 300 yards, and he remains just ahead of Calgary's Bo Levi Mitchell for the CFL lead in that category. Reilly will look for another big performance Friday at home against the Lions.

September 11, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 35 of 45 passes for 432 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Saturday's 34-28 overtime loss to the Stamps. He also added 37 yards and a rushing touchdown on 12 carries.

The veteran gunslinger was in top form in what turned to be a shootout with Bo Levi Mitchell. Reilly got the fireworks started early with a 104-yard touchdown to Derel Walker on the Eskimos' first offensive play of the game and followed up with a 26-yard strike to Adarius Bowman in the second period. Reilly also contributed his fifth rushing score of the season and now has a whopping 3,747 yards passing over 11 games.

September 6, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 23 of 36 passes for 219 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions in Monday's 45-24 loss to the Stampeders. He also carried the ball seven times for 46 yards and a score.

It's his fourth straight game with a rushing touchdown, but that only partially softened the blow of Reilly's worst passing numbers of the year. He's become a little cavalier with the ball, throwing five of his nine INTs on the season in the last three games, but until Monday it wasn't costing Edmonton any wins. He;ll get a chance for revenge Saturday when the Eskimos host the Stamps in a rematch.

August 27, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 21 of 26 passes for 253 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Friday's 33-25 victory over the Roughriders. He also scored a touchdown and gained 45 yards on six rushes.

The veteran signal-caller enjoyed yet another multiple-touchdown game, although his yardage total represented only the second time all season he'd thrown for less than 300 yards. Reilly hit Derel Walker for a 31-yard scoring strike in the first after rolling out and found starting tailback Shakir Bell for a 15-yard touchdown later in the period. He added a 46-yard missile to Adarius Bowman in the second to set up a field goal just before the half, and came back to score a key seven-yard rushing touchdown early in the fourth after the Riders had pulled to within 22-19. The 31-year-old is now over the 3,000-yard mark with half a season left to go, putting him well on pace to eclipse his career-best yardage total of 4,207 set back in 2013.

August 12, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 29 of 45 passes for 300 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in Thursday's 23-12 victory over the Als. He also totaled 34 yards and a touchdown on eight rushes.

The veteran's numbers through the air were there, but the overall tenor of the performance was not quite like Reilly's other 300-yard efforts. He also failed to throw a touchdown for the second straight week, but did record his first rushing score of the season on a one-yard sneak. Reilly has now managed to hit the 300-yard mark in six of his seven games this season, and surpassed his 10-game total of 2.449 yards from 2015 with Thursday's production. He'll look to continue his string of prolific outputs when the Eskimos face off with the Argos in Week 9.

August 7, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 25 of 41 passes for 255 yards with no touchdowns and an interception in Saturday's 23-20 loss to the Redblacks. He also gained 17 yards on two rushes and lost a fumble on a sack.

It was by far the veteran signal-caller's worst game of the campaign, as the Redblacks defense was able to keep him off balance throughout the night. Reilly was even knocked out of the game in the second quarter after a hit by Ottawa linebacker Damaso Munoz, but returned after only missing one play. The game marked the first time that Reilly has been kept under 300 yards and without a touchdown in what had been a prolific 2016 season until Saturday. He'll try to rebound in just five days when the Eskimos take on the Als Thursday night in a Week 8 tilt.

July 29, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 28 of 43 passes for 346 yards with a touchdown and interception in Thursday's 30-23 loss to the Blue Bombers. He also gained 14 yards on his only rush.

The veteran signal-caller's numbers looked typically impressive by night's end, but the game itself was nowhere as smooth as the stat line appears to indicate. Reilly and the offense struggled on several possessions, and he was also plagued by some drops from the normally sure-handed Adarius Bowman. The Blue Bombers defense also did a solid job limiting Reilly's options downfield at times, leading to running back John White hauling in a season-high eight passes. Although Reilly was able to get the Eskimos within seven with a late touchdown pass to Derel Walker, the ensuing onside kick went to Winnipeg, sending Edmonton to their second straight loss. The 31-year-old will try to turn things around in a tough Week 7 matchup on the road versus Ottawa.

July 24, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 32 of 42 passes for 354 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions in Saturday's 37-31 loss to the Ti-Cats. He also gained 24 yards on five rushes.

After totaling 465 yards in a Week 4 victory, Reilly looked to be on pace to equal or surpass that figure in the first half of Saturday's contest . The veteran was 7-for-7 for 66 yards and a touchdown to Cory Watson on the opening possession. Reilly followed up with a 22-yard touchdown to Derel Walker that put the finishing touches on a nine-play, 68-yard drive, and completed 21 of 25 passes for 223 yards overall in the first half. However, Hamilton's defense did tighten up after intermission, and put the final nail in Edmonton's coffin with a strip sack of Reilly in the closing seconds. Despite the disappointing outcome, the 31-year-old has already thrown for 1,580 yards and 10 touchdowns over the first five contests, with Saturday's 354-yard total serving as his lowest figure in a game this season.

July 15, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 32 of 45 passes for 465 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Thursday's 20-16 victory over the Blue Bombers. He also gained 18 yards on seven rushes.

The veteran passer appeared to be even more locked in than in Week 3's 378-yard performance against the Roughriders, continually eating up huge chunks of real estate with his arm while averaging 14.5 yards per completion. Reilly completed nine of his first 10 passes, and finally got the Eskimos into the end zone with three seconds left before the half with a touchdown pass to slotback Cory Watson after a spectacular sideline grab by the latter just a couple of plays earlier. The 31-year-old followed up with long completions to both Adarius Bowman and Derel Walker throughout the second half, amassing the highest single-game passing yardage total in the CFL to date this season in the process. Reilly now has 1,226 yards through the air and seven touchdowns in just three games, putting him on pace for the best season of his seven-year CFL career.

July 9, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Reilly completed 27 of 37 passes for 378 yards and four touchdowns with one interception in Friday's win over the Roughriders.

After signing a new contract with Edmonton in the offseason that will make him the league's highest-paid QB, Reilly has come out of the gate firing in 2016, racking up 761 passing yards and a 5:1 TD:INT through the team's first two games. He should be in line for another big performance Thursday when the Eskimos head to Winnipeg.

June 26, 2016

Reilly completed 28 of 40 passes for 383 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 45-37 overtime loss to the Redblacks. He also gained 16 yards on seven rushes.

The seven-year veteran, who played in only 10 games in 2015 due to injury, looked nearly as sharp as he had in the preseason finale, hitting wideouts Adarius Bowman and Derel Walker for multiple big gains downfield. Reilly averaged a stellar 13.7 yards per completion, and found tailback John White for his one touchdown on the day. Despite the disappointing team result, the Central Washington product, now fully healthy, looks primed for another standout campaign in 2016.

Reilly completed 8 of 9 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 25-11 preseason victory over the Roughriders.

The veteran quarterback played the first two drives and was nearly flawless, misfiring on only one throw and hitting Derel Walker on a 59-yard pitch-and-catch on the opening drive. Reilly closed out the successful march to the Roughriders' end zone with a five-yard toss to Chris Getzlaf. The performance was a nice step up from Reilly's 5-of-8, 54-yard effort in the preseason opener versus the Stamps last Saturday, and the 31-year-old looks ready to hit the ground running in the regular season opener versus the RedBlacks.
