Jackson rushed once for 16 yards, logged two receptions for 28 yards and a touchdown, returned three punts for 26 yards and added 67 yards on four kickoff returns in Saturday's 27-24 loss to the Roughriders.

The versatile running back continues to turn in the occasional sneaky-good fantasy effort, with Saturday serving as the latest example. Jackson's touchdown reception marked his first time crossing the goal line from scrimmage this season and he continued to fulfill his role as the primary returner with serviceable results. The Florida Atlantic product's numbers naturally vary from week to week due to his limited role in the offense, but he remains a weekly DFS dart throw that's worthy of consideration.

Jackson logged a sole reception for four yards, eight punt returns for 127 yards and a touchdown and five kickoff returns for 114 yards in Saturday's 43-35 overtime win against the Tiger-Cats.

Jackson kickstarted the Argonauts with a 92-yard punt return in the first quarter that erased an early 7-0 deficit. The Florida Atlantic product now has a pair of punt return scores on the season, with his first having come back in Week 4. Jackson also has a score on a missed field-goal return in 2017 and continues to be a high-variance but potentially rewarding DFS tournament play each week.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jackson posted one reception for three yards, 55 yards on five punt returns and 26 yards on his sole kickoff return in Saturday's 33-19 win over the Alouettes.

After stuffing the stat sheet in Week 13 with 221 yards on returns -- 125 of them coming on a missed field-goal runback for a score -- Jackson had a more modest tally Saturday. He still profiles as one of the more effective return men in the CFL, particularly on punts, an area in which he's averaged an impressive 10.9 yards per touch. He thus profiles as a high-variance but potentially rewarding and low-cost DFS tournament option each week. Jackson could see plenty of return opportunities versus a vulnerable Tiger-Cats squad in Week 15.

Jackson totaled six yards on two rushes, five yards on one reception, 96 yards on five punt returns and 125 yards and a touchdown on his one missed field-goal return in Saturday's 34-26 win over the Eskimos.

The versatile tailback excelled on special teams, with his successful runback of a missed 42-yard Hugh O'Neill attempt in the third quarter representing his second return score of the season. Jackson doesn't get many opportunities from scrimmage, but he's averaged an impressive 10.9 yards per punt return and 22.7 yards per kickoff return. Meanwhile, his 125-yard touchdown Saturday gives Jackson an average of 72.0 yards on his three missed field-goal runbacks. His limited touches outside of special teams make him much more of a DFS tournament option, but his big-play ability renders him a high-upside selection.

Jackson gained 23 yards on two receptions, 45 yards on five punt returns and 137 yards on five kickoff returns in Saturday's 38-27 loss to the Riders.

The Florida Atlantic product got loose for a 15-yard reception down the left sideline for his biggest play from scrimmage while also turning in another productive night in the return game. Jackson has eclipsed 100 yards in kickoff returns in two of the four games he's played and consequently offers some decent fantasy value as a DFS punt option. The Argos' propensity for playing in shootouts also helps keep his return opportunities typically robust, something likely to once again come to pass against the high-octane Stamps offense in Week 7.

Jackson failed to get a touch on offense in Thursday's 33-25 loss to the Blue Bombers, but kept the Argos in the game with 339 return yards and a touchdown.

His 78-yard punt return for a TD late in the first quarter gave the Argos their first lead of the game, and Jackson took a kickoff return to the house in the second quarter only to have the score called back on an penalty. The 25-year-old CFL rookie has yet to become very involved in the offense, but with Brandon Whitaker struggling as Toronto's lead back it wouldn't be surprising to see the electric Jackson start to work his way into the backfield mix.

Jackson is listed as the backup running back for Friday's matchup with the Lions.

Jackson did not suit up for Toronto's season opener, but he finds himself on the depth chart this week with fellow running back Brandon Whitaker (undisclosed) unavailable. James Wilder figures to see the bulk of the work in the backfield, but Jackson could see some opportunities in the return game as well.

Jackson signed with the Argonauts on Tuesday.

Jackson previously spent time with Florida Atlantic University and Winnipeg, and played last season with Montreal, where he spent the duration of the season on the practice roster. He will likely try to make the Argonauts roster as a special-teams speedster for the upcoming season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jackson is listed as the third-string running back for Friday's game against the Redblacks.

Jackson was not immediately ready to play when he signed with the Alouettes in late July, but it appears he is good to go for Week 9. Jackson's workload figures to be minimal, as Brandon Rutley typically sees the bulk of the work in Montreal's backfield.
