ANALYSIS
With NFL experience and an athleticism that could have made for versatility, Daniels was expected to be a valuable backup for the 'Riders in 2018. Instead, Daniels will now become a free agent in the CFL following the team's final cuts to get the roster down to the required limit. In two games of preseason action, the former seventh-round pick by the San Fransico 49ers was 9-for-23 with 133 yards and two interceptions, as well as 13 yards on two carries.
