O'Brien completed 9-of-13 passing attempts for 60 yards in Saturday's 21-16 loss to Calgary. He added three carries for three yards and a touchdown.

O'Brien was ineffective and unable to move the ball in the first half outside of one field-goal drive. Brandon Bridge replaced him for the second half, but the 29-year-old was called on at the goal line for a QB sneak and converted it for a touchdown to make it jus a 14-10 deficit. In three starts in relief of Mike Reilly, O'Brien completed 37-of-61 passing attempts for 334 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
