After signing with Toronto in January, Edwards didn't appear in any games for the Argonauts while he contended with a quad injury. Once healthy, the 24-year-old could catch on with another team, as the wideout was productive during his first CFL season in 2021. Edwards appeared in seven games for the Elks last season, tallying 15 catches for 168 yards and a touchdown while also factoring into the mix on punt and kickoff returns.
