Trevor Harris started the game and put together a razor-sharp performance in what designed to be a tune-up for the postseason, and Maier then entered and finished out the contest. The veteran backup also split time -- with Jack Coan in that instance -- in Week 20 against the Blue Bombers, and he finished the season having completed 64.4 percent of his 87 pass attempts for 617 yards with a 2:2 TD:INT. Maier has plenty of experience from his four-year stint with the Stampeders, so he's a viable option if called upon for emergency duty during the postseason.
