Pressley, who had most recently a practice squad member for the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars, reached agreement on a contact with Winnipeg earlier this month after failing to generate much interest in the United States. He was expected to compete for a depth role in the Blue Bombers' backfield, but failed to distinguish himself during his two weeks with the club to earn a spot on the roster. It's unclear if Pressley will explore his options elsewhere around Canada or wait for an NFL opportunity to potentially materialize.
