The Tiger-Cats released Taliaferro on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Taliaferro, who suited up for the NFL's Baltimore Ravens from 2014 to 2016, was a member of the Tiger-Cats for just over a week before receiving his walking papers. The 26-year-old was signed by Hamilton shortly after competing in the The Spring League in Texas, but evidently didn't do enough in practices to prove worthy of a long-term stay with the CFL club. Given his limited game action at any level the past two seasons, Taliaferro could have difficultly securing a roster spot in the CFL or elsewhere.
