Swanson has signed a contract with the Roughriders.

Swanson tried his hand at the NFL for a pair of seasons but was unable to gain much of a foothold in the league. Prior to that, however, the running back posted a solid senior collegiate season at Toledo back in 2017, racking up 1,363 yards and 14 touchdowns on 242 carries while adding 20 grabs for another 194 receiving yards.
