Wilson completed 10 of 17 passes for 70 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in the Blue Bombers' 31-10 preseason loss to the Stampeders on Friday. He also rushed three times for four yards.
ANALYSIS
The New Mexico product obtained some nominal experience with the Houston Gamblers of the USFL in 2023, and he's now trying to stake a claim for a No. 3 quarterback role in Winnipeg behind Zach Collaros and Chris Streveler. Wilson didn't exactly help his cause with the pair of interceptions, but he was otherwise reasonably efficient and also went a respectable 10-for-15 for 115 yards and a touchdown in the preseason-opening loss to the Roughriders.
