Travis Theis
Thrives as No. 1 back in win
Theis rushed 13 times for 94 yards and a touchdown and brought in two of three targets for six yards during the Alouettes' 37-30 win over the Stampeders in Week 6.
ANALYSIS
With Stevie Scott (hamstring) hitting the six-game injured list, Theis returned to the No. 1 back role and made excellent use of the opportunity. The versatile second-year pro recorded his third rushing touchdown of the season -- and third in as many games -- on a seven-yard run late in the first half, and his rushing yardage total represented a new season high. Given his Week 6 results, Theis heads into a Week 7 road rematch against the Stampeders on Saturday afternoon with a particularly bright fantasy outlook.
