Adams was making his return from a one-game absence, and much like opposite number Zach Collaros, who was also coming back from an idle Week 9, the former was razor-sharp. Adams completed 70.8 percent of his passes while hitting the 300-yard mark for the third time on the season, and he tossed multiple touchdown passes for the fourth time in five contests by connecting with Tevin Jones for scoring strikes of 78 and eight yards in the second quarter. Adams capped off his successful night with completions of 15 yards apiece to Dominique Rhymes and Erik Brooks on Calgary's game-winning drive, helping position Rene Paredes for an eventual decisive field goal as time expired. Adams next faces the Roughriders' vulnerable defense in a Week 12 home matchup on Saturday, Aug. 23 following a Week 11 bye.
