Horvath drew the start in place of James Butler (thigh) and turned in a performance that must have surprised even his most ardent supporters on the coaching staff. The 2022 seventh-round pick of the Chargers had only one carry this season prior to his breakout effort, but a 70-yard touchdown run with just under four minutes remaining capped off his night and the Lions' commanding victory over their closest rival in the East Division. Butler could be ready to return for a highly favorable matchup Friday night at home against the Argonauts, but if he isn't, the Lions now know they have a highly capable replacement.
