Martinek is an unspectacular runner, but his efficiency as a runner made him Rutgers' top option in 2009. He might see some more competition for carries this year than he did in 2009, but it's hard to see him losing his status as Rutgers' top fantasy back. His value is mainly in Big East-only leagues, where he's probably a strong RB2 option. He might not quite match last year's total of 967 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground, but he should get somewhere near there.
