Ryan Whalen

Whalen will once again be one of the top receiver options in the Pac-10. He could be better than he was in the past, in fact. Andrew Luck was excellent as a freshman and should be even better this year, and the departure of Toby Gerhart means Stanford has a reason to throw it a bit more than last year. Whalen does a good job of making big-plays, as evidenced by his 16.25 yards per catch average from last year, and he should be at his best as he heads into his senior season. He's worthy of much consideration in all formats and should be a high pick in Pac-10-only leagues. Just be warned that Chris Owusu might become the best Stanford receiver this year. That won't stop Whalen from doing his part, though.
