Adam Hopkins Injury: Doubtful for Friday

Hopkins (lower leg) is doubtful for UNC Charlotte's upcoming game Friday against Appalachian State, Hunter Bailey of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Barring the injury type, much about Hopkins' lower-leg problem remains unclear. Considering that UNC Charlotte's 2024 team did not use him much, perhaps the 49ers will be fine without him Friday. However, Hopkins is unlikely to immediately step up against Appalachian State.
