Alex McPherson Injury: Likely true GTD for Friday

McPherson will likely be a true game-time decision for Friday's opener against Baylor, Justin Ferguson of the Auburn Observer reports.

McPherson was sidelined for almost the entire 2024 season due to ulcerative colitis, and he underwent surgery to remove his colon this offseason. While the starting kicker has been moving in the right direction, there have been flare-ups in the past weeks. This makes his status for Auburn's season opener very up in the air, but he'll talk to the coaching staff prior to kickoff on what he feels comfortable doing physically.
