Alex McPherson Injury: Question mark for Week 1

McPherson has battled his unique ailment -- Ulcerative Colitis -- all offseason, and though the kicker appeared to be making good progress towards the end of fall camp, he remains a question mark for Week 1. "Obviously, Alex is super talented and accurate, it's just a matter of what he feels like he's able to do," Tigers' head coach Hugh Freeze said. If he can't go, expect Towns McGough to be the backup placekicker for Week 1.
