Arlis Boardingham News: Back at it in practice

Boardingham (undisclosed) is good to go for fall practice, Michael Burwell of the Toledo Blade reports.

Boardingham missed spring ball after undergoing surgery, and it appears the issue is finally in his rearview. He and Texas Southern transfer Jyrin Johnson are set to compete for tight end reps this fall, aiming to claim the starting spot vacated by NFL-bound Harold Fannin. That said, there's also a new coaching regime at Bowling Green, so it remains to be seen how the tight ends will be utilized in the new system.
