Athan Kaliakmanis News: Massive line in defeat

Kaliakmanis was 24-for-40 passing for 330 yards and one interception during Friday's 38-28 defeat against Iowa. He also had 10 rushes for four yards with two touchdowns.

Although Kaliakmanis was effective in picking apart Iowa's defense in the first half, Rutgers was stifled by the Hawkeyes as the game progressed. Despite the loss, Rutgers performed much better compared to previous losses to Iowa, and Kaliakmanis' superb play should help the Scarlet Knights make a bit of noise in the Big Ten.
