Austin Simmons Injury: Unlikely to contribute Week 4

Simmons (ankle) is unlikely to contribute significantly in Saturday's game against Tulane, Griffin McVeigh of On3.com reports.

Like Week 3, at best, Simmons may be available in an emergency role. On the other hand, the role is why Simmons is unlikely to contribute significantly in Week 4. Week 3 saw Simmons throw a touchdown pass, which aggravated his ankle injury in the process. Despite the Mississippi team's head coach Ole Kiffin showing optimism about Simmons being available Week 4, it looks like Trinidad Chambliss will log another start, this time against Tulane.
