Ayden Greene News: Massive target share in Week 1

Greene notched five receptions (on 10 targets) for 71 yards during Sunday's 24-11 loss versus South Carolina.

Greene was targeted on 11 of Kyron Drones' 35 pass attempts in Virginia Tech's season opener. While he caught fewer than 50 percent of the passes that came his way, Greene led the team in receptions and ranked second in receiving yards against a stout South Carolina defense. He looks to be the clear top option for the Hokies, and managed to put together a strong stat line despite an overall rough offensive game.
