Baylor Hayes News: Touchdown pass and interception

Hayes completed 22 of 37 passes for 189 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 42-23 loss against Navy. He also had nine rushes for five yards with one touchdown.

Hayes got his first start of the season Saturday as Kirk Francis is sidelined with a concussion. The freshman threw his second career touchdown pass, but also turned the ball over once and had accuracy issues, completing only 59.5 percent of his passes. All signs point to him getting the start again next week if Francis can't go.
