Behren Morton Injury: Donning boot but should play

Morton (lower leg) is donning a boot during the week but is throwing, per Don Williams of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.

Morton is reportedly going to be limited all week leading up to Friday, when the Red Raiders hope he can really ramp up his participation in practice. Still, head coach Joey McGuire sounds like he expects his star quarterback to play against UCF. Morton has tossed for 1,969 yards, 16 touchdowns and four interceptions this fall.
