Billy Edwards Injury: Will not return Thursday

Edwards (lower body) has been ruled out for the rest of Thursday's game versus Miami (OH), Nick Osen of 247Sports.com reports.

Edwards was ruled out for the game coming out of the half. He suffered a non-contact left knee injury while making a handoff in the second quarter but was able to limp off the field under his own power. The initial look doesn't seem promising for Edwards, but it's expected the team will conduct further tests to determine the severity of his injury. Danny O'Neil will man the offense the rest of the way.
