Nunez announced his commitment to Mississippi Valley State on Friday.

Nunez began his D-1 career in 2024 but failed to impress, getting only a 40.0 completion percentage, under 100 passing yards and a 2-1 TD-INT ratio with New Mexico State. As a runner, he fared better, getting 26 carries for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
