Brendan Sullivan Injury: Out at least one week

Sullivan is out for at least one week because of foot and ankle injuries, Guerry Smith of The New Orleans Advocate reports.

The injuries happened during Tulane's team practice Thursday. Sullivan out for at least one week does not mean he will sit out the 2025 Green Wave's season opener, currently scheduled for Aug. 30 against Northwestern. However, the more time Sullivan's injuries take up, Jake Retzlaff gets increased opportunities to showcase why he should be their primary quarterback. As recently as early-August, the two have split first-team reps.
