Thompson, the transfer from Oklahoma who reeled in 19 catches for 230 yards and two scores last season, has earned a starting role with the Bulldogs, at least on paper. Regardless of how much the Bulldogs' first depth chart actually means, we can expect Thompson to be a regular contributor in this offense.
