Cam Edwards News: Season's best in OT defeat

Edwards led UConn with 116 rushing yards on 23 carries and two touchdowns in the 44-41 loss in overtime to Delaware on Saturday.

The output against Delaware was his third best result in his career. The red-shirt junior has led the Huskies rushers in each of the three games so far in 2025. Edwards is averaging 102 rushing yards per game so far this fall. UConn takes on Ball State in the next contest, Saturday, Sept. 20. The Cardinals rush defense is in the bottom quarter of the nation, but they have faced Purdue and Auburn so far this season.
