Cameron Dickey News: Set for bigger role in 2025

Dickey will be listed as a co-starter in the backfield ahead of the Aug. 30 game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, according to Ty Kaplan of The Dallas Morning News.

The Red Raiders lost Quinten Joyner (knee) for the entire season, meaning Dickey and J'Koby Williams are going to split the workload in the backfield -- at least in the opening weeks of the campaign. Dickey appeared in nine games in 2024, tallying 41 carries for 225 yards and a touchdown while also catching nine of 11 targets for 47 yards and another score.
