Carson Conklin News: Loses out on starting Week 0

Conklin will not be Fresno State's starting quarterback at Kansas on Aug. 23, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.

Fresno State announced that E.J. Warner will be Fresno State's starting quarterback at Kansas. Conklin recently joined the Bulldogs from Sacramento State, whose 2024 season includes his 2,876 passing yards and 28 touchdowns. He must hope for a struggling Warner to log in-game opportunities under center during 2025.
