Carson Hansen News: Carry sharing expected to continue

Hansen and Abu Sama are expected to continue sharing carries during Iowa State's 2025 season, Rob Gray of The Gazette reports.

During 2024, Hansen and Sama combined for 275 carries between them. Both continuing to share them means the former's ceiling may not be as high as that of other running backs. But if 2024 proves anything, splitting carries did not impact him too much, considering he logged 151 of them for 752 yards and 13 touchdowns.
