Chamon Metayer News: Strong showing at Tuesday's practice

Metayer (undisclosed) showed out during Tuesday's fall practice, Kevin Hicks of Sports Illustrated reports.

Metayer, who was held out of last weekend's scrimmage with an undisclosed injury, returned to action for the Sun Devils this week. The 6-foot-4 grad student notably caught a 35-yard touchdown pass from Sam Leavitt, one of the highlight plays on the day from the young quarterback. Metayer, who tallied 32 receptions for 306 yards and five touchdowns across 14 games last fall, will look to be a reliable target for the Sun Devils' offense for a second-straight season.
