Chanz Wiggins Injury: Doubtful for opener

Wiggins (undisclosed) is doubtful for Virginia Tech's upcoming game at South Carolina on Aug. 31, Evan G. Watkins of 247Sports.com reports.

Less than a week before Watkins' update, it was announced that Wiggins would sit out some time because of his undisclosed injury. Previously questionable, it has caused his availability status to downgrade to doubtful with just over a week before the 2025 Hokies begin their regular season.
